$1,000 in fiat when the gold standard ended in 1971 is only worth $163 today. If you put that $1,000 in gold back then, you would have $44,680 today. 44,6x over 40 years is fantastic for a store of value. Until you consider that Bitcoin has 44.6x since 2017. That’s what hard money looks like.
